If you are interested in working with children and making a difference in the life of a child, this is the job for you!  Our center cares for children from 6 weeks through 12 years of age.   This offers you a great opportunity to gain experience with a wide range of ages, if you are considering a career in the early childhood education field. 

For those of you who have recieved a degree in the early childhood education or an education-related field can begin a teaching career at our program.  We allow our teachers the great flexibility in being responsible for their own classroom with the guidance of the Creative Curriculum. Whether you are starting your career  in early childhood or just love to work with children, it is our goal to consider what age group you are most comfortable working with, because this will enhance the level of care that is provided to our children.  We also make every effort to work with employees class schedules that are in the process of completing their education, because we value the employees decision to continue their education. 

In addition to a warm and welcoming environment to work in, we provide all staff an extensive orientation before they begin working in our program.  It is also required that upon hiring anyone, that they must complete a background study that is submitted to the MN Department of Human Services.  The orientation includes a center orientation, a classroom orientation, SIDS and Shaken Baby trainings, child development and CPR and 1st Aid (Assistant Teachers and Teachers only).  We have a Professional Development Coordinator that works with each employee to develop a training plan based on the age group that they work with at our center.
